REF Stockholm has created a detailed list of classes that will help you enhance and develop your skills while creating an experience that will help you think beyond your chair. These classes will help enhance and improve who you are as a stylist and will aid in the growth of your business.
Our education mission is simple; we believe in supporting our industry by inspiring and uplifting hair stylists through superior education, while providing a welcoming community of creativity and appreciation for the beauty of the world we live in.

REF Professional Classes
At REF Stockholm we realize that education is the key to success. Success can be measured in many ways but one of the underlying principles is knowledge. We have developed class offerings where you can enhance your knowledge of REF, further develop your understanding of core skills and broaden your artistic proficiency through REF Collection Classes. Our education program entails separate segments:
REF Colour Intro: Our get to know REF Colour class where we go through all essentials within REF Colour, our fantastic care, Permanent Colour, Soft Colour, Direct Colour & Blonde ID.
REF Colour Re-Connect: This is an advanced class building on the REF Colour Intro. Here, hairdressers receive a refresher on the REF Colour Intro along with deeper insights into common challenges such as grey hair coverage and toning.
REF Colour Master: REF Colour Master is an active class where we combine theory with hands-on on hair swatches by going through all essentials within foundation of color knowledge and REF Colour.
REF Refine Your Blondes: Refine Your Blondes is an advanced class focused on lightening hair using both REF Colour and Blonde ID. We all know lightening hair can be a challenge—this course is perfect for those ready to elevate their blonde expertise to the next level.
REF Collection Classes: Step into the realm of editorial inspiration and creativity guided by REF’s latest collection looks. Here we go through our fantastic collection, why we create a collection every year, how we do it and our lovely end results. We will go through all our looks step by step by look & learn.

REF Colour Intro
This class is for you who have just started working with REF Colour or wish to start or are just curious about our lovely REF Colour range.
Permanent Colour: A fundamental overview of how we use Permanent Colour, including key benefits, mixing ratios, reflections, grey hair coverage, and all shades.
Soft Colour: A fundamental overview of how we use Soft Colour.
Direct Colour: A fundamental overview of how we work with Direct Colour.
Blonde ID: A fundamental overview of High Lift and Balayage as well as our Colour Remover Bath.
Total Time: 4 hours, of which 2 hours theory + 2 hours hands-on.

REF Colour Re-Connect
This class is for you who have worked with REF Colour for 6 months or longer and now want to take your REF Colour knowledge to the next level!
Builds on REF Colouring Intro: This is an advanced course that builds upon the foundational REF Colour Intro.
Grey Hair Coverage: We dive deep into common challenges and their solutions.
Toning: We explore common challenges and solutions in greater depth.
Total Time: 4 hours, of which 1 hour theory + 3 hours hands-on.

REF Colour Master
This class is for you who have worked with REF Colour for 12 months or longer and wish to enhance confidence within colour knowledge and to level up within all amazing opportunities with REF Colour.
Theory + Hands-on: REF Colour Master is an interactive class where we combine theory with hands-on practice using hair swatches.
Colour Theory: During this session, we cover all the essential foundations of colour theory and REF Colour.
Certification: Upon completion of the class, you will receive a certificate recognising you as a fully certified REF Colourist!
Total Time: 6 hours.

REF REFINE YOUR BLONDES
Join us for a day full of endless blonde possibilities! You do not need any prior experience of REF Colour to participate. After finished class you receive a certificate diploma.
The right product at the right time: When do we use each product?
Hair’s natural warmth: What can you expect? Learn how to work with or counteract natural warmth in the hair.
Tips & tricks: We’ll dive into toning tips and tricks – when, why, and how to use them.
Certification: Certificates are awarded upon class completion.
Total Time: 6 hours.

REF Collection
Welcome to a day of creativity and set the trend for 2025 with the REF Collection!
Theory: Here we go through our fantastic collection, why we create a collection every year, how we do it and our lovely end results. We will go through all our looks step by step by look & learn.
Hands-on: You will receive one mannequin head where you will create your very own look by combining one colour technique with a styling technique from this year’s collection, and best of all, the mannequin head is yours to keep!
Total Time: 6 hours.

Jenny Eklund is a passionate full-time technician at REF Stockholm with many years of experience and an enduring passion for colour and hair, both in Sweden and internationally. “The absolute best thing about working as a technician at REF Stockholm is definitely the constant exchange between us hairdressers. We are an industry in continuous development, and I will always love being a part of it.”

Nicole Coil has over 20 years of hairdressing experience, Nicole’s adoration for the hair industry can be seen and felt through her energetic work on stage and in the classroom. She loves all aspects of hair but specializes in organic cutting and coloring techniques. Her greatest passion is to help grow, support, and elevate other hair professionals to reach their individual goals as they journey through our industry. “When you become an educator, you commit yourself to being a life-long student”.

With almost 2 decades of styling behind her, Em is a master haircutter focusing on organic cutting, razor work, as well as a color correction specialist. She loves sharing her passion for REF Stockholm Sweden through the impactful connections she makes with her clients and her enthusiasm and patience in the classroom.

Lyndsey Kincer
North America Artistic Team
Lyndsey is an Austin, Texas Native. She has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Her career in beauty started in makeup artistry, putting her on many Indie film sets, weddings, and the influential Austinite scene. Her passion for versatile textures and curls has earned extensive training in curly hair cutting, color, and styling. She puts much effort into sharing exciting new techniques, products, and seeing other hair professionals awaken their own passions in our industry.

Jessika Campbell

Jessika is a Southern California native that specializes in hair color and cutting. Inspiring and influencing other hairdressers to step into their confidence is what drives her passion for educating others.

Irini Giannakenas

I’ve been working as a hairdresser for almost 15 years in Gothenburg. I really love working with hair and most of all colouring. My favorite product is REF Leave-In Serum. It fits all hair types. It really is moisturizing and gives shine to dull hair. I personally love to use it all the time.

Janne Näränen

Janne Näränen is an experienced stylist / hairdresser with a wide range and knowledge beyond the ordinary. He has won international awards and has previously worked at some of Sweden's foremost hairdressing salons. His passion for styling and hairdressing has really set the tone of his expertise. Jannes favourite REF product is the Fiber Mousse because of its amazing prestanda.

Henrik Andersson

Henrik has a vast experience within the industry and has been a hairdresser for 16 years and an educator for 6 years. He has always had a passion for colour and shape and has become an expert working with colouration products. His secret to grow as an artist is to be open for new things and always remember that one person can not know everything but together we can all learn from each other.
